Practice

Riley has been practicing walking behind her little "beep-beep," and now that the weather has gotten nicer, she can practice outside. Pushing the beep-beep over the rug or hard wood inside is too fast and her little legs can't keep up. The dirt and grass slow it down just enough. she loves it and it's so much fun to watch.
On Saturday we enjoyed going to buddy Addison's first birthday. She shares her actual birthday with Shake- speare later on this week. My birthday was uneventful except for Addison's party and the delicious chocolate cake my work friends got for me on Friday afternoon. Riley enjoyed both my cake and Addison's cake immensely. She definitely inherited my sugar tooth. Riley also met a new friend, Lali, who is Becky's daughter. We had such fun!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! Uncle Peter came up yesterday and spent the night. He had fun playing with Riley in the afternoon and then we all watched the end of the men's college hockey finals. Today we had whole gang here for dinner. Grandma and Grandpa (Robin and Bruce) came up first to make sure the lamb got onto the grill in time and Nana and Grandpa came shortly after. Riley enjoyed her Easter basket with cheerio and goldfish cracker filled eggs. Dinner was delicious and we all had a great day!

Tubby Time

Lately Riley has gotten very excited about the tub. She sometimes visits the tub when it isn't bath time and looks into it. She also hightails it to the bathroom as soon as she hears the water running to fill the tub, and, now that she isn't afraid of the the water coming out anymore, she likes putting her hand under the water and then inspecting her wet hand.

Stuck

Riley has been busy this week. She is working on movement via two feet and has been having fun trying to squeeze between the wall and the play pen.
