The Help

Caleb, like many two year-olds, loves to help. His favorite chores are stocking the water, helping to fold laundry, and helping load/unload the dishwasher. Sometimes he is more help than others, and often his version of "help" is a bit skewed. This version of help also goes with something else common in two year-olds: putting things on your head.

Smiles and Snow

The other day we had our first significant snowfall since...October. We ended up with about one foot of snow. Riley was super excited to get out and play in the snow again. Caleb was excited too...to get his boots on and get all ready for the snow. He only lasted outside 5 minutes. I stayed in since I'm nursing a 7 week old cold turned sinus infection.
Then, yesterday, we went to the mall and the kids played for awhile in the little play area. Riley did such an awesome job looking out for her little brother - we were super proud of her. As a reward, we decided to take them to the Disney Store to pick out something with the birthday money Great Aunt Lynn sent them. Riley spent a lot of time browsing and searching for the exact right thing. Caleb made a beeline for the back of the store and organized the stuffed animals. Riley told me on the way home that picking out her special present at the Disney Store was even better than going to Chuck E Cheese. See what they picked out below.  Thanks Great Aunt Lynn!
