It is only in the 50s, but the kids were restless, so it seemed like a good day to put boots on and trudge through the snow to the sandbox which was clear of it. Caleb didn't know what to think when I plopped him in the sand, but Riley loved it.
The difference between Riley and Caleb...when I looked up from reading a magazine for 30 seconds, this is what I saw. Caleb had climbed up on this chair and was chucking things from the self onto the floor. Riley was much older before she started these shenanigans. Riley promptly let him know that he should only stand on his knees on chairs so he doesn't fall off.
Caleb had his first big boy bath without the baby tub. Although he is smiling in this picture, he really was not a fan of the big tub. He's back to the little tub for now, which uses less water anyway.
This ring was my weekend project. The photo really doesn't do it justice.
I was enjoying these two play with each other so much that I missed Caleb's bedtime by almost 30 minutes tonight. Whoops! At least now it's almost time for Riley to go to bed too!
The kids have outgrown most of their clothes, which they always manage to do right in the middle of a season. Yesterday Grandma took us shopping and the kids got lots of new clothes. I told Riley this morning that we were going to do a fashion show and take pictures. I don't think she knew what I meant because she seemed surprised when we just kept changing her clothes and I kept taking pictures "again and again and again and again". She was a good sport; however, I will never get the same cooperation from Caleb, so I'm not even going to try.
