This weekend was full of firsts for Riley. On Saturday we took her to her first high school football game. It was Conval's Homecoming and for that game they typically play Milford. It's always nice to go and see our teams play each other and now Chris and I can be happy that we've supported our schools by going to at least one game this year.
After we returned home from the game Riley took all of the toys out of her toy bin and enjoyed taking a ride in it.

On Sunday Grandma and Grandpa came over to watch football and Grandma and I went shopping before the Pats game. While we were gone Grandpa went fishing while Chris hung out with Riley. Later in the day we Riley's new tutu (her first) on her.

She also enjoyed chomping on a pretzel or two. I'm not sure how much of it she actually ate VS how much became mush that coated her clothes. Here she is enjoying the pretzel on Grandma's lap. She loved to suck on it, but would get very annoyed when she dropped it and couldn't pick it up again because it was too slippery. Later as I was changing her into her pjs I found the remnants of a pretzel fall out of her clothes.

And finally, here is a picture of Riley with her Grandpa. He sent this picture to me to post on the blog claiming that there has never been a picture of the two of them together on here. Oops! He also wanted to say, "that it was an especially good day for Grandpa as, in addition to visiting with Riley, both the Pats and the Giants won and [I] caught a 4.25 lb. largemouth on the pond." I will mention that the fish was 4.5 lbs when Grandpa told the story at our house so as the story spreads the fish shrinks. I didn't think that fishing worked that way. I thought the fish would be 5 lbs for sure by now!
