This past Saturday Peter's girlfriend, Laura, and I went to the Solomon Pond Mall in MA to see the Wheel- mobile. The only way to get on the show Wheel of Fortune is to attend one of these events. So we went. Then we stood in line for 2 hours for our group's turn. Laura won a t-shirt, and we filled out applications while we were waiting. Then we all were herded in to a big room for the "show". We were at the very beginning of the line, so we were at the front of the room with abut 1,000 people behind us. Then, all of those applications went into a big barrel and they pulled out 30 to come up on stage and play. We were not randomly selected. I think we ultimately decided it was ok because most of the people called up were "loserish" and there was still a chance our names could get pulled later and they could call us. But it was interesting and we were glad that we went.
